MBSR

“Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally,” – Jon Kabat-Zinn

Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

The MBSR course is designed to help people become more aware of what is actually happening in the present moment.  There is strong scientific evidence that doing this will:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety in the workplace
  • Enhance resilience, emotional intelligence and inter-personal relationships

The course is run over 8 weeks with each weekly session running for 2 hours.  Between Week 6 and Week 7 there will be a 1 Day (6 hours) practice day.

Each session will consist of practical exercises, formal mindfulness practices, group discussions and didactic teaching.
